The functions and competences of the New Technologies Committee are the following:

• Report to the Board of Directors about the status of the new technological developments regarding biofuels.
• Report in advance, all the proposals that the Board of Directors may submit to the General Meeting for the adoption of agreements corresponding to the new technologies applicable.
• Inform and give advice on the investment policy in new technologies.
• Prepare an annual report on the activities of the New Technologies Committee and related progress.

The New Technologies Committee meets at least twice a year, as often as required in order to comply with the aforementioned functions, and whenever called by the Chairman, on his own initiative or at the request of any of its members. It will also be valid when, being all of the members present, they agree upon the need to hold a meeting.

The New Technologies Committee will be validly constituted when attended by the majority of its members. Attendance may be delegated to another counselor. The agreements will be validly adopted when voted in favor by the majority of Committee’s members present.
